AM:

I did about 2.25 warmup, then later another .5 right before the start.

The first little bit I focused on the girl Bill pointed out and tried to work with her. It was on a hill where she sped up and I had trouble staying with her, and she gapped me. I tried to use the downhill best I could, but it just seemed like she was getting farther and farther away from me. I felt more focused today than I have been for past 5ks, but I guess it wasn't good enough. When other guys started to pass me I tried to go with them, I fought more than I have in the past couple 5ks. But it was a tough course. I didn't crash as bad as I have lately. I was disappointed that I couldn't keep up with that girl, but apparently she runs for the U. So that makes me feel a little better, but not much.

After I finished I did about 1.25 cool down before hurrying home so that I could get CPR certified for my job.

PM:

I did 3.25 on my own after a nice nap, had a headache the whole time though, unfortunately the nap didn't get completely rid of it. I got it right in the middle of the CPR thing.

Later PM:

Did 3.5 with Megan, then continued on by myself doing circles around my circle. Not smart to run alone at night, it's really creepy.

Next week will be a pain, it'll be hard to keep mileage up because I leave for girls camp on wednesday... this'll be fun.
