Simplot!!!! It was a very long drive. I sat around for most of the time. We took a great team picture at the green screen!!!! Abigail's body was gone!!! haha :P 2 miles warmup. Then Bill gave me a gu thing and it was DISGUSTING!!!!  Then I did strides and drills at the Bull Pen. Then more strides while waiting for my race to start, and im counting those for at least a 1/2 mile. I'm certain I did more than that.

Race time! I was really nervous, and Bill told me to just not get lapped. He said to get a 5:40. Killed that! I got a 5:38, my new PR!!!! On the first lap I just didn't even pay much attention to running. I just went with it. Adrenaline going? I think so. On the 2nd lap, I was still not paying much attention. 3rd lap, started to get back to my senses, and I felt really good, which was weird, so I pushed a little more. 4th lap, I started to get tired, so I feel I went back to my pace before. I then felt like I was gonna crash, and I didn't want to, so I just made sure I kept up the pace. The last 300 I was told to go as hard as I could, but I was worn out, but I still tried to pick up the pace. It wasn't until the last 200 I really started to kick. Then, with 100 meters to go, I was so worn out, and tired, and my calves were hurting, and I was starting to think negatively, and then I let a girl go, WHICH I AM REALLY MAD ABOUT!!!!! I finished, but I feel I did well. Just really mad about those 100 meters.

Well, I was really hoping to make finals, but unfortunately, I didn't. Why am I so mad about those 100 meters? Because if I had gone with that girl, then passed her at the end, I would've made finals. I was 40th, and they take top 36. Pathetic. I hope to do better next time.
